The drawing works originate as sample sheets, where areas of coloured marker pen are laid down to test their combinations. The sheets are kept and later layered with patches and washes of oil stick and turps, followed by further accumulations of marker pen, embroidery thread and raw materials associated with the fabrication of fishing flys. The works explore the joy of growth, proliferation, multiplication and spread as forms of survival and adaptation within hostile environments.
