Flesh bursts,
Pulsing to the counter point
Abattoirs and nightclub lights.
Obscene colours
- Plastic -
Backdrop to Monsters
Hugging in the marble dust.
Sticky and solid
The remains aren’t fully human -
Nor are they quite dead.

"Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.”

This exhibition brings together works from five London based artist all at an early stage in their respective careers. Across painting, sculpture/object making, sound and performance the show hopes to explore ideas around the unreal or the ‘alternate present’ and how this can potentially galvanise minds and bodies into action with in their own world/reality. The will enable the objects and image to converse with one another in the hope of suggesting parallel universes and economies of making, traversing pain, pleasure, lust/desire and creating transporting the view to another realm galvanising the internal or the hidden and letting it rupture the glossy surface of ‘reality’.
