The first event from ANBA which will be hosted between 2 cities connected via live stream. This is an attempt to create a communal space/experience, as a physical reflection of the decentralised communication networks that have provided the space for collaboration free from geographical tethers. 

San Mei Gallery will host the London event, featuring AV works by Wa?ste, object blue x Lvlsrvryhi and an installation from Mang. It will also include Live/DJ performances from Renick Bell & Mang and object blue

The Cairo event will feature works & performances by quxndil, KZLK, Islam Shabana, ZULI, 0N4B & A7ba-L-Jelly


Donations from the London event will help fund upcoming artist residency at Cairo based creative platform HIZZ (@xxhizzxx) that will also host the Cairo ANBA01 event and the subsequent workshops that will be held there. They will also being put toward the funding of ANBA 01 in Cairo.

- Wa?ste - is a net artist which has released on rising Shanghai based labelGenome 6.66 Mbp with his 'Hollow Vessel' EP,

- Renick Bell - An artist whose practice involves live coding, improvisation, and algorithmic composition using open source software. With a release on Lee Gamble's label UIQ, a recent album on Halcyon Veil, and a collaborative performance with Fis at Berlin's Atonal Festival last summer, we are excited to welcome him back to London. - object blue - An artist who produces and performs a mix of experimental music and techno, a style that has seen her rise from strength to strength in the last year. One that culminated in a feature on Factmag's artists to watch in 2018! Object Blue has recently secured a regular Radar Radio slot alongside her frequent appearances on SIREN's NTS Radio show, also with a widely anticipated debut EP out via Tobago Tracks soon we are all the more excited to present an AV collaboration between her and Lvlsrvryhi. - Lvlsrvryhi (The Levels Are Very High) - A well respected member of the internet music scene who runs a music blog, a mix series and creates video works. His latest work got featured by Hyponik and a great example of his style is the video for JEROME's Isolation series - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtXnKfA0umA&app=desktop. He has also recently launched an alias called 'aFTER' which featured on the recent Beatgatherers Radar radio show. 

- Mang (Fingal Ashford) - An english artist based in London who co-runsBeatgatherers & ANBA. Fresh from his well received EP he has forthcoming music with GRAŃ, Avbvrn, Renick Bell & Kurama to name but a few. A preliminary version of his Installation was shown at a recent EditedArtsexhibition, an event which explored the relationship between humanity and technology through multimedia works and live performances. - 0N4B are an electronic music duo consisting of Onsy and Abadir. The project is considered experimental in nature, featuring complex patterns of rhythm and subtle melodies/glitches alternating between passages of ambiance.

- ZULI is a musician and electronic music producer born and based in Cairo, Egypt. Moving his first steps as a beatmaker for the Egyptian rap scene, he frequently collaborated with local artists. Later he incorporated this lesson in a more personal output that draws from the heavier edges of electronic music, working with morphing textures, an ever-increasing spectrum of sound sources and recomposing bits of rhythm inherited from grime, hip hop, techno and jungle. As a promoter, he co-founded pioneering club night & party crew VENT , whose aim is to put audiences, producers and DJs from Cairo in conjunction with the wider global electronic scene, and act as a positive force for cultural innovation. His first two records have been released by Lee Gamble’s highly influential UIQ, while his newest effort, titled “Trigger Finger” is now about to come out of Milan’s Haunter Records.

- A7ba-L-Jelly is a DJ and Visual Artist based in Cairo, who started making video art under her real name Donia Shohdy around 2014, as a DJ she plays a broad spectrum of sounds varying from US Jersey & Bmore Club & Hip Hop to UK Bass, DnB & Grime etc.
Donia Co-founded and currently promotes and curates Cairo's club night @Jellyzone, as a concept of merging accessible club vibes with nontraditional club music. As a visual artist her main interest is examining visual practices of film and media, in terms of idea, form and style. Whether creating video art that deconstructs visual aesthetics found in film and archive by abstracting it apart from its original position to create an alternative composition. Or through film criticism, comment and reviewing film, film makers and the broader culture.

- KZLK, Egyptian visual artist turned sound artist, who works with disruptive textures/structures.

زيرو إن فور بي: هو مشروع مزيكا مشترك بين أنسي وأبادير. المشروع بطبيعته تجريبي وفيه أنماط إيقاع معقدة على شوية ميلودي وخروشة بيتخللها أجزاء مريحة وهادية

زولي: هو فنان ومنتج مزيكا عايش في القاهرة. بدايته كانت إنه بيعمل بيتس لفنانين الراب في مصر. تعامل بعدها مع مزيكته بشكل شخصي أكتر مستمد من أتقل مناطق المزيكا الإلكترونية، اشتغل من خلالها على خامات بتتغير وبتتحول ومصادر أصوات كتيرة وإعادة تأليف إيقاعات مستمدة من الجرايم والهيب هوب والتكنو والجانجل. اشترك في تأسيس حفلات فينت إللي هدفها إنها تجمع الجمهور ومنتجين المزيكا والدي جيز إللي من القاهرة وتخليهم على اتصال بمشهد المزيكا الالكترونية العالمي. نزّل أول ألبومين له على شركة يو آى كيو بتاعة لي جامبل. وحيصدر ألبومه الجديد "تريجر فينجر" على شركة هونتر بميلان

أحبة الجيلي: دي جي وفنانة بصرية مقيمة بالقاهرة. ابتدت في 2014 تعمل فيديو آرت بإسمها الحقيقي دنيا شهدي. بتلعب كدي جي مزيكا أنواع مزيكا كتيرة ومختلفة زى اليو إس جيرسي والبيمور كلاب والهيب هوب واليو كي بيس والدرام آند بيس والجرايم . . . إلخ.
شاركت دنيا في تأسيس حفلات جيلي زون وحاليًا بتنظم الحفلات دي. المفهوم إللي عندها بيدمج بين طاقة الكلابز ومزيكا الكلابز الغير تقليدية. اهتمامها الأساسي كفنانة بصرية هو دراسة الأفلام والميديا من ناحية الفكرة والشكل الأسلوب. دراستها دي بتبان سواء من أعمال الفيديو آرت بتاعتها إللي بتفكك فيها الجماليات البصرية إللي موجودة في فيلم أو أرشيف عشان تخلق تكوين بديل، أو من خلال نقدها ومراجعتها للأفلام وصنّاعها والثقافة بشكل أوسع

كزلك: هو فنان بصري تحت مشاريع أو أسامي تانية في الأساس بس شغال في الصوت. بيشتغل على الأصوات والخامات الخربانة.
